Last Updated: October 23, 2025
Welcome to Acuity Studio, operated by Acuity Platforms Inc.!
We're excited to have you as a contributor. To keep everyone safe and make sure your recordings are useful, please follow this Code of Conduct. By participating, you also agree to the full Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), which has more detail and is legally binding.
What You Should Do
- Be safe. Only record in safe situations. If you feel unsafe, stop recording.
- Stick to the task. Film yourself completing normal, everyday activities.
- Protect privacy. Keep personal details (like addresses, IDs, financial documents, or medical records) out of your videos.
- Get consent. Only include other people if they've given you explicit permission in writing.
- Use your own recordings. Submit only the content you've created yourself.
- Keep it respectful. Treat others with respect and ensure your videos are suitable for all audiences.
What You Must Avoid
- No illegal or dangerous content. Don't record crimes, drugs, weapons, unsafe stunts, or anything that could cause harm.
- No explicit or sexual content. This includes nudity, pornography, or sexual activity.
- No children. Never film or submit videos showing minors.
- No private spaces. Don't record in bathrooms, bedrooms, medical facilities, schools, or workplaces without permission.
- No strangers without consent. Don't secretly film people in public.
- No harmful speech. Don't include hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory behavior.
- No fakes or edits. Don't alter your recordings or submit AI-generated/synthetic material.
Remember
- If you're ever unsure, don't submit the recording — check first.
- Violations of this Code may lead to rejection of your submission, suspension of your account, loss of payment, or reporting to authorities as explained in the full Acceptable Use Policy.
