Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all contributors ("Contributors") who record, upload, or otherwise submit data to Acuity Studio, operated by Acuity Platforms Inc. ("Company"). By participating, you agree to comply with this Policy. Failure to comply may result in suspension or termination of your account, forfeiture of payment, and potential legal consequences.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to contribute data.
- You must have the legal right to provide the data and grant the Company all required rights in it.
2. General Conduct
Contributors must use the recording equipment responsibly and may not engage in any activity that:
- Violates any applicable law or regulation.
- Infringes on the rights of others, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
- Harms, threatens, or exploits others.
3. Prohibited Content
The following are strictly prohibited from being recorded, uploaded, or submitted:
3.1 Illegal or Harmful Activities
- Violence, abuse, or harassment of any kind.
- Criminal activity, including theft, drug use, or vandalism.
- Weapons handling or dangerous acts.
- Nudity, pornography, or sexually explicit material.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), child exploitation, or any depiction of minors.
- Self-harm, suicide, or other dangerous behavior.
3.2 Sensitive or Private Information
- Personal data of third parties (names, faces, voices, addresses, phone numbers, financial info, medical data, etc.) without explicit written consent.
- Content captured in private spaces (homes, bathrooms, medical facilities, schools, workplaces, etc.) without explicit permission.
- Recordings of individuals who are unaware they are being filmed.
3.3 Intellectual Property Violations
- Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other proprietary rights (e.g., filming inside a movie theater, capturing copyrighted artwork or software interfaces without authorization).
3.4 Other Prohibited Material
- Political, religious, or extremist propaganda.
- Hate speech, discriminatory content, or harassment based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, disability, religion, or nationality.
- Spam, misleading, or fraudulent recordings.
4. Third-Party Considerations
- You are responsible for ensuring that any third party included in your recordings has given informed, explicit consent.
- You may not film strangers in public in a way that violates privacy rights or creates legal liability.
- If minors are present in a public space, you must avoid capturing them.
5. Technical & Quality Standards
- Recordings must be clear, stable, and relevant to the assigned tasks.
- You must not tamper with, edit, or falsify submitted data.
- Submissions must be your own work; you may not submit content generated by others or synthetic/AI-generated material.
6. Safety Requirements
- You may not record while driving, operating machinery, or in any situation that distracts from safety.
- You must follow all local laws and safety regulations during recording.
7. Enforcement
The Company reserves the right to:
- Review, reject, or remove any content at its sole discretion.
- Suspend or terminate accounts for violations.
- Report illegal activities to law enforcement.
8. Reporting Violations

We're excited to have you as a contributor. To keep everyone safe and make sure your recordings are useful, please follow this Code of Conduct. By participating, you also agree to the full Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), which has more detail and is legally binding.
What You Should Do
- Be safe. Only record in safe situations. If you feel unsafe, stop recording.
- Stick to the task. Film yourself completing normal, everyday activities.
- Protect privacy. Keep personal details (like addresses, IDs, financial documents, or medical records) out of your videos.
- Get consent. Only include other people if they've given you explicit permission in writing.
- Use your own recordings. Submit only the content you've created yourself.
- Keep it respectful. Treat others with respect and ensure your videos are suitable for all audiences.
What You Must Avoid
- No illegal or dangerous content. Don't record crimes, drugs, weapons, unsafe stunts, or anything that could cause harm.
- No explicit or sexual content. This includes nudity, pornography, or sexual activity.
- No children. Never film or submit videos showing minors.
- No private spaces. Don't record in bathrooms, bedrooms, medical facilities, schools, or workplaces without permission.
- No strangers without consent. Don't secretly film people in public.
- No harmful speech. Don't include hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory behavior.
- No fakes or edits. Don't alter your recordings or submit AI-generated/synthetic material.
Remember
- If you're ever unsure, don't submit the recording — check first.
- Violations of this Code may lead to rejection of your submission, suspension of your account, loss of payment, or reporting to authorities as explained in the full Acceptable Use Policy.
